Rafael Leão is a young Portuguese football talent known for his technical skill, speed and ability to score goals. He was born in 1999 in Almada, Portugal, and began his career with Sporting CP’s youth teams.His rise to professionalism took place in 2017, when he debuted for Sporting’s main team. However, his troubled departure from the club in 2018 sparked controversy, with Leão terminating his contract following an incident in which players were attacked by fans. He later transferred to Lille OSC in France.
At Lille, Leão continued to show his potential, standing out as one of the most promising young talents in European football. His ability to play both as a central striker and on the wings makes him versatile, while his speed and technical ability make him a constant threat to opponents.
In addition to his club career, Rafael Leão also represented Portugal at various youth levels, including the under-21 team. BMW has renewed for another year its partnership with the main football team of AC Milan, the Italian club where Portuguese player Rafael Leão, formerly of Sporting, has been in the spotlight and who also received a new car.
The Rossoneri received a fleet of 25 new cars from the Bavarian brand: nine units of the BMW X5, 15 BMW X6 and a single example of the 100% electric SUV iX.
Rafael Leão chose the latest generation X5, a model that in the most powerful version has a 625 hp engine, capable of reaching 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds!
