Premier League: Manchester City chooses Dani Olmo if the Portuguese player leaves
26-year-old Spaniard is one of the ‘citizens’ targets for next season
Manchester City is keeping an eye on Dani Olmo. According to Mundo Deportivo, the English club has accelerated negotiations for the Spanish international and wants to complete his signing next week.
The RB Leipzig player has a release clause of 60 million, which expires on July 16th. The Athletic points out that City consider Dani Olmo to be the ideal replacement if Kevin de Bruyne or Bernardo Silva leaves.
Mundo Deportivo also states that Barcelona will also be interested in the midfielder, but financial fair-play rules will be making the deal difficult.
