Ederson Santana de Moraes (born 17 August 1993) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Manchester City and the Brazil national team.

Ederson began his career with São Paulo in 2008 before moving to Benfica a year later, where he spent two seasons. In 2012, he moved from Ribeiro to Rio Ave in the Primeira Liga, where he became a regular starter. In 2015, he returned to Benfica and was assigned to the reserves before making his debut for the first team, with whom he would win four major titles in two seasons. Ederson joined English club Manchester City for £35 million for the 2017–18 season, becoming the most expensive goalkeeper of all time in terms of the nominal value of the pound sterling at the time of his transfer. He won the Premier League and EFL Cup in his first season in England, and a domestic treble the following season.

Ederson began his footballing career in 2008 with local club São Paulo FC, where he played for one season before joining Benfica in Portugal. He spent two years as a junior here at the age of 16, before being released in 2011 and eventually signing with Ribeiro. Ederson joined Primeira Liga side Rio Ave a year later, signing a contract until 2014. After a string of good performances and a call-up to the Brazil under-23 squad, he signed a new contract with the club in April 2015 that was due to run until 2019.
