With Portuguese goalkeeper Rui Silva in goal, Betis comfortably beat Kryvbas 3-0 in the second leg of the play-off for access to the Conference League . After beating the Ukrainian club 2-0 in the first leg, the Spanish side qualified for the final phase of the European competition. William Carvalho was an unused substitute.
And it was in the space of three minutes that Betis scored all three goals of the night, with striker Abde Ezzalzouli being the standout performer, scoring twice. But first he provided the assist. In the 40th minute, after an individual move down the left flank, the Moroccan crossed for Ruibal to finish and without giving the Ukrainians time to respond, in the 41st minute Betis scored the second in a quick counter-attack, which ended with a cross shot from the African.

Two minutes later (43′), Abde Ezzalzouli scored his second goal of the match. Taking advantage of an incomplete save by the opposing goalkeeper, he recovered the ball and, from a tight angle, shot again into the back of the Kryvbas net.

Fiorentina , runners-up in last year’s Conference League , also qualified for the final stage of the competition, but needed to go to penalties (5-4) to beat Hungarian side Puskas Academy, after a 1-1 draw in regular time and extra time.
Moise Kean scored the first goal of the game in the 59th minute and the Italians held on to their lead until… the 90+7′! All because Luca Ranieri committed a penalty and was sent off. Following that move, Zsolt Nagy converted the penalty and sent the match into extra time.
After being reduced to 10 men, Pietro Comuzzo left the Italians in a very difficult situation after being shown a red card in the 97th minute, leaving Fiorentina with just 9 players to hold on to the result. In the penalty shootout, David de Gea was the hero, as he saved Szolnoki’s penalty to give Fiorentina the win.
