Al Nassr terminates contract with former Vitória de Guimarães player
Konan leaves Luís Castro’s team two years later, in the same way as Alex Telles
After reaching an agreement with Alex Telles for the mutual termination of the contract, Al Nassr announced, this Saturday, the departure of another left defender, this time Ghislain Konan.
The 28-year-old had arrived in Saudi Arabia two years ago and, after a season in the team of Cristiano Ronaldo , Otávio and Luís Castro, was loaned to Al Fayha last season and returned to the club this summer.
With the transfer market closed in practically all countries and without being registered on the Saudi list, which only has space for nine foreigners in the squad, the solution was obvious and the Ivorian’s contract was terminated immediately, despite still having one more year at the club.
