Fahad Al Muwallad is hospitalized in serious condition after falling from the second floor of his own home
According to reports in the Saudi press, striker Fahad Al Muwallad, a 30-year-old athlete who plays for Al Shabab , coached by Portuguese coach Vítor Pereira, is in intensive care after falling from his balcony.
Saudi media reports that the athlete, a standout player for the Saudi Arabian national team, fell from the second-floor balcony of his own home in Dubai on Thursday morning. Al Muwallad was alone at the time of the accident and was quickly taken to Rashid hospital after suffering multiple fractures.
On Friday, Al Shabab, the club where the forward plays, confirmed the accident in a statement: “The player was exposed to a fall accident at his private residence, […] he was transferred to the hospital where he is currently receiving the necessary medical care.”
The Saudi club also left a message wishing the player a speedy recovery: “May God heal him without leaving any illness behind.” In addition, Al Shabab reported that it has sent people linked to the club’s management to Dubai to closely monitor the player’s situation.
