Barcelona announces season numbers
Ansu Fati returns from loan from Brighton and takes on Barça’s No. 10 shirt, worn by Lionel Messi; check out the players’ numbers for all competitions in 2024/25
Barcelona have announced the official numbers for their men’s professional squad for the 2024/25 season on Tuesday. New signings in the last transfer window, forwards Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor will wear the numbers 20 and 18, respectively.
They have taken the numbers belonging to full-back Sergi Roberto and midfielder Oriol Romeu, who have both left Barça in recent weeks. Youngster Lamine Yamal, a standout player for Spain at Euro 2024, has taken the number 19 that belonged to Brazilian Vitor Roque , who is on loan at Betis this season.
In addition, defender Pau Cubarsí inherits the number 2 from full-back João Cancelo, who belonged to Manchester City and transferred to Al-Hilal . The person who will wear the number 10 shirt, previously worn by star player Lionel Messi, will be Ansu Fati.
