GAME RESOLVED IN THE 1ST HALF
Apart from a header from Carles Pérez that was safely saved by Iñaki Peña in the seventh minute, the rest of the first half was dominated by Barcelona. Alternating attacks on both sides, the home team was always close to Getafe’s area. In the 18th minute, Lewandowski opened the scoring, taking advantage of a mistake by goalkeeper Soria on a cross from Koundé from the right. Despite having the advantage, Barça continued to press and create chances to extend their lead. In the second half, despite slowing down the pace, the Catalan team maintained their dominance and were rarely threatened.
RAPHINHA 100% IN SPANISH
For the second game in a row, Brazilian Raphinha wore the captain’s armband for Barcelona. The number 11 had a good offensive performance and, once again, played the full 90 minutes. Only he and French full-back Jules Koundé played all seven games of the Spanish league until the end for the Catalan team.
