Bayern Munich president wants Joshua Kimmich to end his career at Bayern Munich as the German’s contract is coming to an end.

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has expressed his desire to keep Joshua Kimmich at the German club until the end of his career, despite the player currently completing the final year of his contract with the Bavarians:

« We would be happy if Joshua ended his career at FC Bayern. This is not just for next year, but for many, many years to come ».

Joshua Kimmich has been linked with Barcelona in recent transfer markets and could play as a right-back or as a midfielder. He has been at Bayern Munich since 2015, the year he was signed from RB Leipzig. He has already played three games in 2024/25.
