Brahim Díaz will not play for at least 8 weeks
This Sunday, Real Madrid released the medical report of Brahim Díaz, who had to be substituted in the first half of the game against Real Sociedad due to an injury.
Despite Los Blancos taking all 3 points in their visit to the Anoeta Stadium in the 4th round of La Liga, the team suffered a setback with Brahim Díaz’s injury in the first half.
The player, who holds Moroccan nationality, had to be substituted before the 30th minute of the first half. His replacement was Brazilian striker Rodrygo, who started the game on the bench.
Real Madrid released a statement on Sunday revealing the 25-year-old’s fitness status after he underwent initial medical tests.
“Following the tests carried out today on our player Brahim Díaz by the Real Madrid medical department, the athlete has been diagnosed with an injury to the long adductor muscle in his right leg. His progress will be monitored.”
According to Fabrizio Romano, the player will undergo further tests in a week to obtain more details, but the expectation is that he will be out of action for at least 8 weeks due to this muscle injury.
