Cristiano Ronaldo launches luxury champagne brand
The Portuguese star and his sister are partners in the venture, each bottle of which costs 1,777 euros. The price is a reference to his shirt number and the 777 goals scored in official matches.
The milestone of one billion followers on social media shows that Cristiano Ronaldo is much more than a football player. In addition to having a very valuable image, the Portuguese player has several commercial ventures associated with his brand. After launching the “Pestana CR7” hotel in partnership with his sister, Kátia Aveiro, the athlete launched the champagne brand ‘Os 777 Gols’, in partnership with his other sister, Elma Aveiro. The idea came about in 2021, when he reached the milestone of 777 official goals, according to UEFA. In partnership with the winery “Clément Victor” (a company originally from a French city called Janvry), the duo decided to invest in the product and launch it on December 31, the birthday of his mother, Maria Dolores Aveiro.
In total, 777 exclusive bottles were produced, a number that refers both to the number of goals scored by the Al-Nassr star (which now exceeds 900) and to the number of the shirt he immortalized at Manchester United, Real Madrid and the Portuguese national team. Each unit costs 1,777 euros (around R$10,600). There are currently less than 200 bottles for sale.
