The star stars in two curious scenes in the victory against Scotland: a loving hug for a small fan in a wheelchair, and the complaint after an invader tries to hug him

There’s no way it could be any different. Wherever he is, Cristiano Ronaldo will be the center of attention. And the star player starred in two curious scenes, due to different emotions, with fans during Portugal’s 2-1 victory over Scotland . One, due to the joy he caused a fan. The other, due to the irritation with the fan’s attitude.
Before the game, Ronaldo, who started on the bench at the Estádio da Luz, made sure to hug each of the mascots that would be taking to the field with the Portugal starters. Both teams took to the field with some children with disabilities.
They were all wearing shirts with the hashtag #futebolparatodos, with the aim of drawing attention to inclusion in sports. Ronaldo hugged each of them and left one of the little girls emotional with the affection she received from the star, in a touching scene (watch above).
Cristiano Ronaldo’s other experience with a fan was not so pleasant at the Estádio da Luz. A young man invaded the pitch wearing the Portuguese star’s shirt and forced the game to be stopped in the 40th minute of the second half, when Portugal was making a promising move.
The only reason the strike wasn’t even bigger was because security guards managed to intercept the fan of the Al-Nassr star, who looked very unfriendly. Moments before, Robozão had scored his 901st career goal and secured the Portuguese victory.
Pitch invasions have been a recurring problem for the Portuguese national team: the 3-0 victory over Turkey, still in the group stage of the last European Championship, saw five pitch invasions by fans looking for a selfie with Cristiano Ronaldo . Coach Roberto Martínez commented on the issue and did not hide his discomfort at the time.
– We have to get the message across: this is not the best way and it could mean that security measures could be tightened. It is not good for the players to be so exposed on the pitch – said the Portugal coach at the time.
The Portuguese national team will only return to the field in the next FIFA Date, on October 12th and 15th, when they will face Poland and Scotland again, both away from home. Portugal remains in first place in Group A of the Nations League, with 2 wins and a 100% success rate so far.
