Arsenal, Sporting’s opponent in the Champions League, today beat their rivals Tottenham (1-0) in the London derby, on the fourth day of the English football league, thanks to the only goal from central defender Gabriel.

At the home of their eternal rivals, the score remained level in the first half, but after the break, the Brazilian defender broke free from his opponent’s marking, jumped higher and headed home a cross from Saka in the 64th minute.
