Is Ter Stegen’s replacement a former Real Madrid player?
Costa Rican Keylor Navas is represented by Jorge Mendes and is open to joining the Catalans
Due to Ter Stegen ‘s serious injury , who is only expected to return to the pitch next season, Barcelona are looking for a new goalkeeper and Keylor Navas is the name most talked about at the moment.
According to Mundo Deportivo , the former Real Madrid man is willing to listen to the Catalans to replace the German in goal, with Jorge Mendes, his agent, trying to finalise the operation. The Portuguese has done several deals with Barça in recent years and his relations with the club are excellent, which could help facilitate negotiations.
Despite being without a club since his contract with PSG ended , the Costa Rican goalkeeper has remained fit over the summer and is still looking for a new challenge, and is willing to lower his salary demands due to the financial crisis at Flick’s side.
