THE GAME

Italy beat France 3-1 on Friday in the first round of Group 2 of the Nations League. At the Parc des Princes, the home team took the lead after just 13 seconds, with Barcola taking advantage of a mistake by the Italian defense. Thirty minutes later, Dimarco scored a great goal, hitting the top corner after a beautiful pass from Tonali. In the second half, Frattesi and Raspadori gave the victory to the Italian team.

GOOD RECEPTION IN THE OLD HOUSE

Mbappé returned to play at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain’s stadium, this Friday. Playing for the French national team, the striker, who swapped PSG for Real Madrid, was celebrated by the local fans during the warm-up of the match.

EYE ON THE TABLE

With the victory, Italy erased the bad impression left at the European Championship and took the lead in Group 2 of the Nations League. Spalletti’s team has three points and returns to the field next Monday, against Israel. France remains without a point, but has the possibility of changing the scenario also on Monday, against Belgium.
