Jorge Jesus reveals that Neymar will only return in 2025

The Portuguese coach explained that the Brazilian is not yet 100% and that the situation will only be analyzed again at the beginning of the new year

It seems that we will not see Neymar back on the pitch this year, after having suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee almost a year ago, on October 17, 2023.

The Brazilian has been recovering little by little, but he will only return to play in 2025, according to his coach, Jorge Jesus: « Neymar is a very important player, not only for Al-Hilal , but for the entire championship. However, I cannot give an exact date for his return. We will evaluate his condition again in January», he explained.

The 32-year-old forward has shown on social media that he is focused on getting back to doing what he loves most as soon as possible, already taking part in some training exercises with his teammates.
