Juventus appeals to court to force Ronaldo to return millions

The Portuguese international represented the Italian club between 2018 and 2021

Juventus reported in its Annual Report and Accounts for last season that it has already paid approximately 9.8 million euros in compensation to Cristiano Ronaldo . The dispute between the parties concerns an initial agreement in which Ronaldo gave up three months of wages (worth 19 million euros gross) during the pandemic in order to alleviate Juventus ‘ financial situation . The Portuguese international argued that he should receive this amount back in the following years, while the vecchia signora understood that no clause had been signed that obliged her to do so.
