Lens remain unbeaten in Ligue 1 after 0-0 draw with Lyon
Will Still’s team has two draws and two wins in the official start of the season, while Pierre Sage’s team has four points less
David Costa started in the goalless draw between Lens and Lyon this Sunday, in a match for the 4th round of Ligue 1 , ending up coming off in the 58th minute, while, on the other side, Anthony Lopes was left out of the squad.
However, the visitors managed to celebrate the goal, briefly, twice, with Gift Orban scoring both goals, which were immediately disallowed for offside and confirmed by VAR, in the 11th and 57th minutes.
With this point, the home team climbed to fourth place in the league and remained unbeaten in the French league, after a second consecutive draw ( Monaco ) and two previous wins ( Brest and Angers). The visitors remain in the second half of the league table, in 13th place, with four points: a win against Strasbourg (4-3) in the last match and defeats against Monaco (0-2) and Rennes (3-0).
