Lion responds to Italian ‘attack’ with photo of himself making Nazi salute
Paolo Di Canio criticized the Portuguese forward’s attitude during the hydration break during the match against Lazio on Sunday
Rafael Leão was quick to respond to Paolo Di Canio, after the criticism that the former player made of the Portuguese after the match between Milan and Lazio (2-2), as, this Monday, on his personal account on the social network X, the Portuguese forward published a photograph of the former Lazio athlete making a Nazi salute.
It’s all due to Di Canio’s criticism of the Portuguese forward’s attitude last Sunday, in a game in which he came off the bench in the 70th minute and scored the equalizer.
The match was marked by what happened during the hydration break, a moment in which the teams regrouped and in which Paulo Fonseca took the opportunity to give instructions to the players. However, Rafael Leão and Theo Hernández remained apart, a gesture that drew criticism from Di Canio.
