Endrick is a young Brazilian soccer player who has been attracting a lot of attention on the sports scene. Born in 2006, he stood out in the youth ranks of Palmeiras, one of the main clubs in Brazil, with impressive performances in both the Campeonato Paulista and in national and international youth competitions.
On July 21, 2022, the day he turned sixteen, Endrick signed his first professional contract with Palmeiras, with an initial validity of three years and a release clause of sixty million euros (approximately 334 million reais, at the time). On July 29, the striker was registered for the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores da América, receiving the number sixteen jersey. On September 18, Endrick was named in the squad for the first time by coach Abel Ferreira. The striker was on the bench in the 1–0 victory against Santos, valid for the 27th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
On December 15, 2022, Palmeiras and Real Madrid announced an agreement for the transfer of Endrick. The amount and duration of the contract were not disclosed, but the Brazilian press reported that the amount was around 70 million euros (393 million reais at the time) and that the contract would initially be valid until 2027, with the option to renew for another three years. However, the contract officially came into effect on July 21, 2024, when Endrick turned eighteen years old.[36] If the amounts are confirmed, the player would become the third-largest sale in the history of Brazilian football.
Endrick was officially presented on 27 July, receiving the number sixteen shirt. The forward made his pre-season debut on 31 July, starting and playing for 45 minutes in a friendly against Milan. The match, which was held at Soldier Field in the United States, ended 1–0 to the Rossoneri.
