Paulo Bernardo scores and assists in Celtic’s rout
6-0 win on the sixth day of the Scottish league
Celtic thrashed St. Johnstone 6-0 this Saturday in the sixth round of the Scottish league .
The Catholics went into the break winning 3-0 and with a Portuguese goal: that of former Benfica player Paulo Bernardo (43′). Furuhashi (35′ and 45′) scored the other two goals.
In the second half, three more goals for Celtic . McGregor , in the 54th minute, made it 4-0. Former Marítimo player Maeda, assisted by Paulo Bernardo , increased the score in the 72nd minute. Idah , in the 83rd minute, closed the score at 6-0.
Celtic have won six of their last six games, scored 20 goals and conceded zero, and are top of the table, level on points with Aberdeen . St. Johnstone are 10th on four points.
