Rabiot close to having his future resolved

French press reports that the midfielder is very close to returning to Ligue 1 at ‘zero cost’

According to information from the French press, more specifically RMC, Adrien Rabiot is very close to finally having his future resolved. The aforementioned media outlet claims that the midfielder is in negotiations to sign for Marseille , at ‘zero cost’.

Marseille thought the deal was impossible, but talks have progressed well and the club expects everything to be agreed within the next 48 hours. RMC reports that the French club will offer a two-year contract .

If confirmed, Rabitot will be a reinforcement for De Zerbi’s squad at ‘zero cost’ and will be back in Ligue 1, which he left in 2019 after several years at PSG.

The French midfielder is without a club after leaving  Juventus in July, the club he had played for for five years. Rabiot’s contract was coming to an end and he did not respond to offers to renew it, and as such, he became a free agent.
