Over the course of the season, he helped Bologna qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 1964–65, securing a top-five finish in Serie A.
 
On 29 July 2024, Calafiori joined Premier League club Arsenal on a long-term contract. He made his Premier League debut against Aston Villa on 24 August.
