After Ter Stegen, Rodri and Carvajal there is another loss for 2024/25

Valentín Carboni, on loan from Inter to Marseille, suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and will also not play again this season

We are still relatively early in the season, but there are already many players who have suffered very serious injuries and, therefore, will not play again this season.

The most recent player to suffer a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, more specifically in his left knee, was Valentín Carboni , a young Argentine who is just 19 years old and a summer signing for Marseille , on loan from Inter . Carvajal , Rodri and Ter Stegen are just some examples of other players who will only return to the pitch in 2025/26.

So far, Carboni has already taken part in four Ligue 1 games , and was also called up by Scaloni for the 2024 Copa América, a competition he won, in which he played 13 minutes.
