Bruno Fernandes reacts to the bad moment
Message from the Portuguese international after being sent off in consecutive games and with Manchester United in an agonizing results crisis
Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes took to Instagram to thank the messages of support he has received on the occasion of the difficult time he is going through on a personal level, after being sent off in two consecutive games. First against Tottenham , in the Premier League , with the three-game ban being lifted after an appeal by the Red Devils , and then against FC Porto , at Dragão, in the Europa League .
“This is a difficult time for the team and for me personally, one of the most difficult. Almost five years at the club, with ups and downs, good and bad moments. Personally, I have always faced challenges and adversities throughout my career and something that has never happened is to remain silent or hide from my responsibilities in difficult moments. I know this sounds cliché and most Manchester United fans are tired of hearing this, but no one is more disappointed than myself at this time. I appreciate all the positive messages and confidence in me and the team”, reads the player’s post on social media.
At European level, Erik ten Hag’s team has two points, thanks to draws with the Dragons and Twente , while in the English league they have won just two games in six rounds and are in a disappointing 12th place.
