Championship: Player suspended for eight games for biting opponent
Milutin Osmajic has been charged with violent conduct

The English Football Association has suspended Milutin Osmajic for eight matches following the Preston North End forward’s bite on a Blackburn opponent during a Championship match on 22 September.
Osmajic accepted the charge of violent conduct by the Association and was also fined £15,000 (just under €18,000). The Montenegrin international will therefore be unable to play until the end of November.
Osmajic played in Portuguese football in the 2022/23 season, scoring eight goals for Vizela in 35 games. He is now in his second season with Preston.
