Man United defender undergoes surgery on cardiac arrhythmia
Noussair Mazraoui underwent minor surgery after experiencing palpitations
Noussair Mazraoui certainly didn’t get a scare, but fortunately it was all just a false alarm. According to the English press, the Manchester United defender had to undergo surgery due to cardiac arrhythmia.
The 26-year-old Moroccan defender underwent minor surgery after suffering palpitations. However, it appears to be a relatively common condition. The BBC reports that Mazraoui is expected to make a full recovery from the procedure, which was carried out as a precaution, and should be available for the Moroccan national team in the coming weeks.
The Morocco international joined the Red Devils this summer from Bayern Munich for a reported €15 million. Mazraoui has started all seven of Manchester United ‘s Premier League games this season, making 10 appearances in all competitions.
