Milan game postponed and Paulo Fonseca has new problems
Floods have been affecting the city of Bologna for several days
The city of Bologna has decided to postpone the Serie A match between Bologna and Milan , scheduled for next Saturday, October 26. The decision was based on the fact that the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium is located in one of the areas that has suffered most from the floods that have hit the city since October 19.
In a press release, the municipality explained: “The game would bring 35,000 fans to the stadium, close to the most critical area of the city, with the consequent public order problems due to the presence of fans and the closure of traffic in the entire surrounding area from early afternoon until night.”
This postponement causes new problems for Paulo Fonseca and Rafael Leão ‘s team , who will have an even more congested schedule in the future. And the difficulty of rescheduling this duel is greater since Bologna is also in the Champions League .
Furthermore, the Rossoneri have more short-term problems. Theo Hernandez and Reijnders were suspended for the Bologna game. However, with this postponement, they are likely to be suspended for Milan’s next match… which is against Serie A leaders Napoli .
