NES’s Chelsea and Nottingham Forest punished by FA
Morato was allegedly assaulted by Nicolas Jackson, while Cucurella was pushed off the pitch by Neco Williams
Last Sunday, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest , from NES, faced each other in the Premier League and drew 1-1 at Stamford Bridge, and towards the end of the match, there was a great moment of tension on the pitch and several players were shown yellow cards.
Neco Williams was one of them, for pushing Cucurella off the field, with the Spaniard also being cautioned, as was Colwill . Morato, who had just come on, was also involved in the mess, with Nicolas Jackson allegedly slapping the former Benfica player , but both escaped unharmed.
After analyzing what happened, the FA decided to punish both clubs for failing to “control” their players, and both have until Thursday to respond, but ended up not sentencing either player.
Both the Londoners and the Portuguese coach’s team have to pay a fine of 50 thousand pounds, as this is the second time that each of the teams has seen at least six yellow cards in an English league game.
