Tuchel in talks to coach England

German press reports that the former Bayern coach is one of the candidates to take over the Three Lions national team

According to BILD journalist Christian Falk, Thomas Tuchel is well placed to take the helm of the England national team. The aforementioned source goes further and assures that the German coach is already in negotiations to succeed Lee Carsley in the Three Lions’ national team.

After England’s home defeat to Greece, interim manager Lee Carsley even hinted at leaving, which would leave the position vacant.

Thomas Tuchel, a record holder, was at the helm of Bayern last season . After a turbulent season in which he failed to win any title and even lost the league to Leverkusen , Tuchel left Bayern as soon as the season ended and has not taken charge of any team since.
