Valverde agrees with Suárez’s criticism of Bielsa: “He said it like it is”

Fede Valverde agrees with the criticism made by Luis Suárez towards Marcelo Bielsa, Uruguay’s coach.

“What Luis [Suárez] said is true. He didn’t lie, he didn’t say anything that wasn’t true and he didn’t exaggerate. He said it as it is. We’re going to talk in the dressing room, talk amongst ourselves as a team, as we always have been. To improve and continue to grow,” he began by saying in statements to the Uruguayan press.

The Real Madrid midfielder admitted that the team will have a conversation with Bielsa: «We always resolve things by talking. This will be another time when that will happen.»

Asked whether Suárez should have asked permission to make statements: «Luis Suárez doesn’t have to ask anyone’s permission. After all, he’s the person who has always represented us in everything. He’s always been the reference. He’s a person who lives football, with a tremendous passion. He’s Luis, he’s the leader of Uruguay and he can say whatever he wants.»
