After eight players were released from the England squad due to injury, Jarrad Branthwaite becomes the ninth casualty in the British squad for the upcoming Nations League games , according to Sky Sports.

The 22-year-old Everton defender had been called up by manager Lee Carsley to fill in for the absences but is unfit and has not travelled to Greece, where England will play on Thursday. He will now return to Liverpool to join up with the Toffees .
