Barcelona signs ‘deal of the century’ with Nike
According to the Catalan press, the renewal between Barcelona and Nike will alleviate the economic situation of the ‘blaugrana’
Barcelona have signed the ‘deal of the century’ with Nike. The information comes from Catalans RAC1 , who say that Joan Lapora, president of Barcelona , has already informed the rest of the board that the deal is still being finalised and will be announced soon.
According to the same source, Barcelona and Nike, who have a contract until 2024, will renew until 2038, with a significant increase in the amount to be received by the Blaugrana . On the table is an increase of 45 million euros, compared to the current value, until 2028, and 60 million euros from 2025/2026. In total, Barcelona would receive around 120 million euros per season.
Laporta has always maintained that Barcelona would secure the best sports sponsorship contract and is very close to achieving it, which will alleviate the club’s economic situation.
