Casemiro: “Everyone speaks wonderful things about Amorim”

Manchester United’s Brazilian midfielder is excited about the arrival of the new coach, and also praises Bruno Fernandes, who scored a goal and provided an assist in his 250th game for the ‘red devils’

One of Manchester United ‘s most experienced players , Casemiro guarantees that the Red Devils squad is excited about the arrival of Ruben Amorim.

“We ended up asking [about him]. The best part is that everyone speaks highly of him. He marked an era at Sporting , at a time when FC Porto were the winners. Sporting are always among the three favourites, but they are usually a little behind Benfica and FC Porto . He had a brilliant career at Sporting . Everyone speaks highly of Amorim. He will have an exceptional group, who want to help, who want to learn, who want to be at the top of the table. We are waiting for him with great joy and happiness,” said the Brazilian international, who played with the Dragons on his chest.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: he’s the most important player we have up front. When he’s good, the team flows better. He gives everything on the pitch, he makes the difference. When he’s good, he’s 70 or 80 percent of the game for us, especially up front. He applies pressure, scores goals and provides assists. Sometimes he may not be so sharp, because that’s only human, but he gives everything on the pitch. We can only say wonderful things about him. He’s a great player,” he said.
