Daichi Kamada is a Japanese professional soccer player who has a net worth of $8.5 million. Born in Iyo City, Ehime Prefecture, Kamada started playing soccer at the age of three. After visiting several teams with his father to sign up, he started playing soccer at the age of 12 for Kids FC (now FC Zebra Kids), a club in his hometown, and helped them win a youth soccer championship on Ehime TV, the Ehime Prefectural Youth Soccer Cup U-12, when he was in the 6th grade of elementary school. On 1 July 2024, Kamada officially joined Premier League club Crystal Palace on a free transfer, signing a two-year contract with the club, while also becoming the first Japanese player in the club’s history. The move also saw him reunited with manager Glasner. He made his debut for Crystal Palace, starting a match and playing 65 minutes before being substituted, in a 2–1 defeat against Brentford in the opening game of the season. In doing so, Kamada became the 1,000th player to make his debut for the club. Two weeks later, on 27 August 2024, he scored his first goal for the Eagles and provided an assist for Jean-Philippe Mateta, who provided an assist for him, in a 4–0 win against Norwich City in the second round of the League Cup.
