Official: Frank Lampard’s new club

Former player returns to action with Coventry in the Championship

Championship side Coventry have announced the appointment of Frank Lampard as manager .

The club confirmed that the 46-year-old coach has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Lampard, who has not trained since May, when he left Chelsea – in the 22/23 season where he was interim manager -, will take on Coventry in 17th place in the Championship.

Lampard will lead the team this Saturday, against Cardiff City.
