PSG reacts to alleged €250m bid for Yamal
‘Barça’ director had hinted that the French club had offered an astronomical amount for the forward
This Monday Enric Masip, advisor to Barcelona president Joan Laporta, said in an interview that the club had received an offer of 250 million euros for Lamine Yamal in the summer, from France, suggesting that it had been presented by PSG .
However, a source at the Parisian club assured L’Équipe that there was “not a million percent chance” of such an offer happening, as the club was not in a position to invest that much money.
The same newspaper claims that Luís Campos, PSG’s sports consultant, contacted Barcelona to find out the details of a possible deal for Yamal, but that no offer was made for the 17-year-old.
