Red Star thrashes Stuttgart and takes their first victory in the champions league

German team opens the scoring, but concedes two goals in the first half, at their opponents’ home ground

Red Star defeated Stuttgart 5-1 on Wednesday in the fifth round of the Champions League. The German club took the lead with Demirovic, but was defeated in the first half with goals from Silas and Krunic. Ivanic and Radonjic extended their lead in the second half at the Marakana Stadium. This is the first result other than a defeat for the Serbian team, which climbs to 31st place and has three points. Stuttgart drops two places to 27th and remains on four points.

HOW WAS THE GAME?
