The special kit that Valencia will wear upon their return to La Liga
Che team will wear black in the match against Betis
Valencia will play in a special kit when they return to La Liga on November 23 against Betis . The players of the Valencian team, where Thierry Correia and André Almeida play , will wear black, as a sign of mourning for those who died following the DANA catastrophe and in solidarity with all those affected.
Despite being the home team, they wore their secondary uniform for the game that will mark the return of football to the Mestalla, for the first time since the floods that affected the province of Valencia.
Furthermore, on the front of the shirts, the slogan ‘Amunt Valencians (Forza Valencianos)’ will appear, while on the back, just below the number, the message ‘Units com Sempre (United as Always)’ will appear.
Valencia will also team up with MatchWornShirt to launch a charity auction, where fans will be able to purchase match shirts whilst helping those who need it most. Valencia and MatchWornShirt will donate 100% of the net proceeds from the auction and will go towards helping children affected by the storm return to sporting and educational activities, the club said.
