UEFA campaign has already trained almost 200,000 people in cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Since launch, the ‘Get Trained, Save Lives’ campaign has provided cardiopulmonary resuscitation training to thousands of people across Europe.
In November 2023, UEFA, in partnership with the European Resuscitation Council (CER), launched the ‘Get Trained, Save Lives’ campaign, to raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest and teach recovery techniques. cardiopulmonary resuscitation that can save the lives of fans, players, volunteers and staff.
At the CER’s annual congress in Athens last week, which was attended by more than 1,400 resuscitation specialists, UEFA presented the first results of the campaign and reported that 176,000 people had received training.
