Amorim warns Man. Utd. fans: “The storm will come”
Coach with his feet on the ground ahead of Arsenal clash
After the 4-0 victory over Everton, Ruben Amorim warned that not everything will always go well and said that the «storm will come».
United have just begun a tough nine-game run in December by thrashing Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford, but now Arsenal are next in what has been described as their biggest challenge yet.
“We’re going to have difficult moments and we’re going to be surprised in some games, I know that. I know it’s very difficult to be Manchester United manager and say these things in press conferences – and we always want to win, no matter what – but we know we’re on a different level compared to Arsenal,” he said.
“I would like to say different things, but I have to repeat: the storm will come. I don’t know if they use that expression here, but we are going to have difficult moments and in a few games we will find out,” said the coach in the preview of the match.
Amorim made his debut with a draw at Ipswich (1-1) and victories over Bodo/Glimt (3-2) and Everton since replacing Erik ten Hag.
