Portuguese midfielder has been missing from the team due to injury

Bayern shared news on Tuesday regarding the progress of João Palhinha , who has been out for over a month due to injury.

“João Palhinha and Serge Gnabry trained with the ball at their feet this Tuesday morning for the first time since their injuries,” read a statement published on the Bavarians’ official website.

” Palhinha has been out since suffering an adductor injury during Portugal ‘s November campaign, while Gnabry has been struggling with a knee problem. The pair have now taken the next step towards a return,” the statement added, adding that Sacha Boey remains sidelined with an ankle injury.

It should be noted that Palhinha has not played since November 9 (victory over St. Pauli), as days later he suffered a rupture of the adductor muscles during a training session with the National Team.
