Chelsea beats Tottenham to take second place in the Premier League
Home team takes 2-0 lead, but Blues manage to score four times and maintain good form in the competition

Playing away from home, Chelsea came from behind to beat Tottenham and win their fourth consecutive Premier League match. The Blues saw their opponents take a 2-0 lead and, after reducing the deficit in the first half, equalized and managed to turn the game around in the second half. Sancho, Enzo Fernández and Palmer scored twice, while Solanke, Kulusevski and Son scored all three for Tottenham.
THE GAME
The opening half between Tottenham and Chelsea was quite eventful. Just four minutes in, Cucurella slipped in the defensive half and lost the ball to Johnson. The Blues player advanced down the right side of the attack and crossed perfectly for Solanke to open the scoring. Shortly after, in the 10th minute, Cucurella slipped again, this time closer to the penalty area. Tottenham recovered the ball and reached Kulusevski, who shot to extend the lead. In the 16th minute, Chelsea arrived with Sancho on the left wing. The player carried the ball into the middle and risked a shot from outside the area to reduce the deficit. 2-1.
In the second half, the match between Tottenham and Chelsea continued to be as lively as in the first half. In the 13th minute, Moisés Caicedo was fouled inside the box. A penalty was awarded to the Blues. Palmer took the shot and tied the game. In the 27th minute, Palmer made a move down the right wing, crossed, and Enzo Fernández took it first time to turn the game around. Ten minutes later, Palmer was fouled inside the box, and another penalty was awarded. Palmer himself took the shot, with a lob, and extended the lead. Tottenham still reduced the deficit in the final minutes with Son, but it wasn’t enough. 4-3 to Chelsea, a comeback.

With the victory in the derby, Chelsea remains in second place, with 31 points – Liverpool is the leader with four more, but has one game less, as the match against Everton was postponed. The Tottenham team is in the 11th round, with 20 points won.
