Last Saturday, Luis Enrique addressed the troubled relationship he has with Ousmane Dembélé , assuring that he is not the “father, brother or ‘brother’” of the French winger, or of any other player. On Sunday, after PSG’s victory over Lyon (3-1), Dembélé commented on the Spanish coach’s words and… agreed with them: “As he said in the press conference, we are not brothers, he is not my father. It is a coach/player relationship. I know him a little better now. We are trying to do everything we can to help PSG grow.”

Against Lyon , Dembélé started for the first time since 26 November, the day PSG lost 1-0 in Munich and the Frenchman was sent off. The winger had previously been sidelined for disciplinary reasons, missing the game against Arsenal in early October. The 27-year-old had to apologise before being reinstated.

This season, he has scored six goals and provided the same number of assists in 18 games.
