Juventus is better in the final stage and wins
Juventus kept Manchester City at bay in the clash between the clubs and won 2-0 this Wednesday at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. Vlahovic, after a mistake by Ederson, and McKennie, with a beautiful volley, scored the goals of the game.
In seven games valid for official competitions, Juventus achieved their fourth victory – two draws and a victory for City in 1976 complete the list.
The first half was not very exciting for the fans watching the match. Juventus started by pressing, but City then began to have more possession and control of the ball (65%). Each team had a good shot. The first was from Juventus, with Yildiz, from outside the area. The last and most beautiful shot came from Haaland, who received a great pass from De Bruyne and tried to lob Di Gregorio. The goalkeeper, however, made a great save.
After a lukewarm first half, the teams started exchanging blows after the break, which was better for Juventus. But the opening of the way came when Ederson made a terrible mistake. In the end, City tried to press, but without success. They had a lot of possession (69%), but their control was only a wire-thin affair, and the Italians deservedly won.
