Manchester United have launched an investigation into who is leaking information about the team, according to English newspaper The Sun. Red Devils manager Ruben Amorim has reportedly questioned Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho about the matter, and the coach is convinced that neither player is directly involved in the leaks, according to the same source and the Daily Mail.
United ‘s starting eleven for Sunday’s dramatic 2-1 win over Manchester City was revealed the night before via social media, something that has been happening in the run-up to the Red Devils ‘ recent games .
Garnacho ‘s brother , Roberto, was accused on social media of being one of the sources, however, he denied the accusations.
After the derby, Amorim spoke about this issue and acknowledged the complexity of it.
«I know that story. I don’t know, I think that nowadays it’s impossible to resolve, because there are so many people at the club, the players talk to the agents, they can talk to a friend, so it’s difficult to know.»
“It’s not a good thing, but we’ll move on and go to the next one and see if they find the next starting eleven,” said the coach, in a press conference, after the victory over Man. City (2-1).
