In an interview with Sky Sports, the Greek businessman revealed his intention to expand his business in the world of football, with the acquisition of a Brazilian club and confirmed the existence of negotiations to secure Vasco da Gama.

Last month, the president of the Rio de Janeiro club was asked about Marinakis' interest, hiding behind confidentiality agreements to not reveal the interested parties.

“There are some investors and I have to be careful when I say this because people think these are advanced negotiations. There are some and there are NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) signed, which I won’t even call negotiations. Through this non-disclosure agreement, I can’t say who the investors are,” said Pedrinho.
