However, despite the difficult times, there are those who defend the Portuguese coach. This is the case of Alessandro Costacurta, a club legend with over 600 games for the Rossoneri, who publicly criticised the squad and praised the work of the Portuguese coach: «Fonseca is trying everything, he is the one who is trying the hardest to get out of this situation.
