Tottenham and Fulham draw in London in the Premier League
Brennan Johnson and Cairney score in a draw that doesn’t help either team in the table
On Sunday, Tottenham and Fulham drew 1-1 in the Premier League. Brennam Johnson scored for Spurs, and Cairney, who was sent off, scored the goal for the visitors. The result leaves the home team in 7th place with 20 points, while Fulham is in 10th with 19.
THE GAME
No goals in the first 45 minutes of the game. At home, Tottenham tried to impose the pace of the match, but failed to score. Fulham also showed up in the opponent’s area and failed to score. The best chance of the game was a low free kick by James Maddison that hit the post.
The goals came in the second half. Brennan Johnson opened the scoring in the 8th minute after a great cross from Werner. Tottenham’s lead lasted until the 21st minute, when Cairney equalized for Fulham. The number 10 remained on the field until the 38th minute, when he was sent off for a foul.
