A great game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. There is no other way to describe the home side’s thrilling 4-3 win over Manchester United. Solanke (twice), Kulusevski and Son, with a stunning goal, scored for Spurs. Zirzkee, Diallo and Evans scored.
Unlike usual, this game has to start counting in the second half. After taking a 1-0 lead before half-time, Tottenham came back from the locker room ready to put the game away. Less than a minute later, Kulsevski extended the lead. After eight minutes, the game was 3-0. The home team had the upper hand until Forster, with two glaring errors, put their rivals back in the game. Zirkzee and Diallo took advantage. The equalizer seemed certain, but in the end Son scored a great goal – it’s true that goalkeeper Bayindir contributed. Game over, right? Wrong. In the 48th minute, Evans reduced the deficit, United applied some pressure, but couldn’t do it. Great game!
Goalkeepers in decline
Forster had a tragic performance in Tottenham’s victory. Curiously, after making a great save from Zirkzee’s header, he gave away the goal that Zirkzee himself scored and also made a terrible mistake on Diallo’s goal. When United tried to react, it was Bayindir’s turn to miss Son’s corner kick. In injury time, Forster failed again, this time on Evans’ goal.
